Graduation & Degree

Students must complete 30 credits of coursework during the program and pass all the course requirements. Student may graduate with one optional concentration (30 credits), or with two concentrations (38 credits).

In addition, students must attain a graduation grade average (GGA) of 2.850 or above (out of a scale of 4.3) as required of all postgraduate students at HKUST.

On successful completion of the program, students will receive the "Master of Science in Investment Management" degree with concentration(s) in "Asset Management", "FinTech", or "Risk Management" (a selection of any two), or Master of Science in Financial Analysis" degree with concentration(s) in Corporate Finance or/and Security Analysis from HKUST. Students may also graduate without a specific concentration.
